Tenant Demand for Residential Properties at Highest Point
The number of tenants renting residential properties from landlords across Britain has increased by around 61,000 new applicants, according to figures released by Countrywide. The rise in the number of tenants between the second and third quarters of the year reached 19 percent, reports the RLA.
July proved to be the strongest month in terms of tenant demand, with 20,000 people seeking a rental flat or house. Thus far this year, demand for rental properties rose by 44 percent.
